| MICROCOMPUTER
SUPPORT SPECIALIST II |
The
Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology is seeking
a half-time Microcomputer Specialist II. The general duties
will include setting up microcomputer software and hardware,
developing moderately complex computer applications using
vendor software and hardware combinations, trouble shoot
and resolve moderately complex software and/or hardware
problems. This position will also test hardware, software,
and accessories and serve as a staff consultant to users.
Qualifications for this position will include: a high
school degree, 90 semester hours of university/college
coursework with a minimum of 18 semester hours of credit
directly related to microcomputer programming, analysis
and design, 12 months of experience in microcomputer application
programming, or any of the above combination of coursework
and experience that totals 27 months.
