Reserch Projects   David F. Carpenter, Ph.D.
Expectations for research in my laboratory are:
1) conducting research in molecular biology methods for the rapid confirmation of emerging infectious diseases isolates of public health significance;
and
2) conducting applied research to integrate, in a BSL-3 lab environment, current diagnostic methods into isolation and identification systems for the bioterrorist agents.
